Description

Max Power PV Tech 9000 – 6kW Solar Inverter in Pakistan

Max Power PV Tech 9000 is a 6,000W rated solar inverter with support for up to 9,000W of PV panel input. This is an important difference: the “9000” model name describes its solar-array capability, not a 9kW continuous AC output. For a home or small business in Zafarwal, choose the inverter based on the actual running load and surge requirement, and choose the solar strings using voltage and current calculations.

Solar panel compatibility – simple questions and answers

How many 585W solar panels can PV Tech 9000 support?

By the published 9,000W PV power ceiling, 15 panels × 585W = 8,775W. This is a power-only estimate, not an approved wiring layout. The final number per series string and number of parallel strings depend on each panel’s Voc, Vmp and Imp. Cold-weather Voc must remain below the inverter’s maximum allowed open-circuit voltage, and operating Vmp should stay within its 60–450V MPPT window. The 27A input-current limit must also be respected.

What about 645W panels?

On the same power-only basis, 13 × 645W = 8,385W, while 14 × 645W = 9,030W and exceeds the published 9,000W PV power figure. Thirteen panels is not automatically a workable series arrangement. String grouping must be planned after reading the exact panel datasheet, local minimum temperature and inverter’s maximum PV voltage specification. Do not connect an assumed number of panels without this check.

Can I connect two parallel solar strings?

Only if the combined operating current remains within the specified 27A input limit and each string meets the permitted voltage window. Modern high-current panels may leave little current margin for parallel connection. Ask an installer to calculate Isc and Imp from the exact panels before purchasing connectors or cable.

Is this a 9kW inverter or a 6kW inverter?

The manufacturer lists 6kW continuous AC rating and 9kW maximum solar-array input. The solar panels may generate more DC power than the instantaneous load, but that does not change the inverter’s continuous output rating.

Which battery should I use?

This is a 48V battery-system inverter. Battery capacity, lithium BMS communication and charging parameters must match the selected battery’s manual. A lithium battery rated 51.2V nominal is commonly part of the 48V class, but communication compatibility should be checked by model, not assumed.

Which household loads are suitable?

Before installation, add the running watts of fans, lights, refrigerator, pump, AC and other appliances expected to operate together. Motors and compressors can draw extra power while starting. Keep design headroom and confirm whether each appliance’s starting surge fits the inverter limits. A qualified electrician should separately check protective breakers, earthing, cable size, ventilation, battery fusing and the approved PV string layout.
